I know this is a simple one but I love it! A perfect "goes with anything" piece but still enough to get noticed. The three rings are interlocking, hence the name - Unity.
After making the In The Garden bangle I was itching to do another, and here it is! A hammered bangle with leaf imprint charms, moonstone, blue topaz, aquamarine and white jade on a small forged ring hanging from it. My bench is covered in these little leaves at the moment as I get them ready to become earrings, a pendant, studs and who knows what else! I'm going to have a lot of fun with my Dewdrops collection I think.
I finally got around to setting up Google Reader today, I'm so impressed. How much time that will save me!! Haha.

Moonlight & Midnight

These earrings, "Midnight Lanterns" are my latest commission. They are made up of artisan lampwork (Chameleon Designs) and crystals on my handmade earwires.
And another pair of commission earrings, "Moonlight". I'm thinking that I should make a whole bunch of grey/black earrings for my website if these are anything to go by! These ones are my forged rings with grey pearls on fabulous, elongated kidney wires.
That's all for now. :)

Mother's Love

This piece was a special Mother's Day gift for an American customer (just so you know that it hasn't taken me months to show you it!!!). I was so pleased to make this pendant for them, especially as it's the Mum's first Mother's Day. The idea behind the piece is that is represents the new branch of their family tree, if you look closely you should be able to spot their babies birthdate in the leaves. Yes, that was quite a challenge!! I've learnt to plan out my pierced work better and better over time, and as I do I end up with less and less of those "whoops, a piece feel out!" moments like I would have had if I'd have joined the points of the leaves up!
I got to see some photos of this being opened and also worn which was lovely and so nice of them to send me. :)
I've got another commission or two to show you tomorrow, that seems to be all I'm doing right now! Not that I'm complaining, I find them very rewarding. Oh, and there are the pieces for my stockists too ... 2 more exclusive collections are in the makings.

Warm Fuzzy Feeling

These pendants are a recent commission which I did for a couple that came to me with an image of the Tamarind Dhow and asked if I could create it in silver. Well, of course it HAD to be piercing work!! It was so nice creating these knowing how much they meant to the customers, and even nicer to receive this email from them ...
Well what can we say……………………………………………they are wonderful they really are. They have a lovely hammered finish and the detailing is fantastic. The customer service we have received from yourself throughout the designing process is 2nd to none. Plus all the personal touches, with the ‘little bit of information’ cards, the boxes etc etc.
Thank you so very very much for making these pendants for us, which are so special and will be treasured forever.
It would be our pleasure to recommend your services to as many people as possible, and we are sure that we will get many admirers and questions when wearing the pendants. We hope to deal with you again in the future.
And keeping with the theme of a warm, fuzzy feeling ... I've been featured on another blog! This time over at Perfect Bound and again, because of the Venice photo shoot. :)
